what did my mum mean to me????? everything, she was and always will be my world.
She was always so CARING it was in her nature, in 1984 she qualified as a nurse there she carried on caring always putting others first.
In august 2007 she was diagnosed with cancer which was hard for us all to come to terms with, however she never complained and said "Lets get on with it and face whats coming." She showed great strength and determination throughout her treatment. she always made the effort to look her best, for every hospital appointment she made an effort to look stunning which she always did determind not to be beaten by her illness. Even during her own treatment she always comforted others with their illness and bereavement, always giving her expert opinion on health related matters.
How did she do that is what everyone wanted to know???? well thats my mum never selfish, or jealous only kind and caring.
she is a fantastic mum loving wife, special daughter, beautiful sister, she was our best friend, a true friend and a trusted work colleague.
A listening ear she always had she could aways tell when i was sad, a smile, a hug, a tiny kiss she always knew how to turn a dreadful day into bliss.
a devoted nurse all of her life, a prefect mum, taken in her prime she deserved so much more time. Her caring hands, her tender touch these are only some of the things im going to miss so much.
My mums life was so sadly short lived and she was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by us all. she will always be in our hearts however much they ache the pain will never fade, But she would want us to find the strength to carry on and gain strength from her sudden departure.
A angel was born the day my mum died to mop away our tears while we cry , though now she is far away shes in my heart and there she will stay.
My question is why?? why did she have to go.
Mum your work here now is done, you have a special place to be now, where you will live on.
wherever i am whatever i do i see your face and miss you so.
Your big beautiful brown eyes had that cheeky sparkle and a smile came to youe face. That certain sparkle and smile that we will never be forgotten.

missing someone isnt how long it has been since you have seen them or the amount of time since you have talked. its about that very monent when you find yourself doing something and wishing they were right by your side.

its been 3 years today since we lost you and there is not a day that goes by that you are not in my thoughts i shead tears still to this day. i love you mum and miss you so much i just want you back , to see you face, feel your touch , hold you close and never let you go. love you mum xxxxxxxxxxxx
